PROFESSOR OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
IIT GANDHINAGAR
DR. BISWAJIT SAHA
Dr. Biswajit Saha is Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering Department at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. He received his PhD in nanomaterial from Nanyang Technological University - Singapore and Massachusetts Institute of Technology - USA (Singapore-MIT Alliance). He worked for Procter & Gamble - Japan on formulation. Also, he worked as contact Assistant Professor at Seoul National University - South Korea and Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology –Rourkela.
His research interest is on fabrication, investigation and application of smart-materials/architectures. Dr. Saha develop smart-material based wearable sensors that are capable of measuring body movements, physical condition. In addition, he has developed bio-sensors for spontaneous detection of pathogen in aqueous medium.
